• From the beginning on of GYMmedia ranking (from Olympic Games in Atlanta 1996)

  Alexei Nemov

  is the NUMBER ONE of the
  GYMmedia-world ranking list,
  also to the start of Olympic year 2000!

• So are only more than 40 points between the number one Alexei Nemow (RUS) and his pursuer Alexei Bondarenko (RUS).

• Naoya Tsukahara's (JPN) difference to the Russian trio are only 12 points.

• There is first time a gymnast winning an  International Tournament, who doesn't rank before in the Ranking List:
  Zheng,Lihui   (CHN) was the best in Sydney and ranked now on 95^th place.
  The new Australian All around Champion Pavel Mamin is also new in the World Ranking list an starts on  171^st position.

• The topical GYMmedia - World ranking list  includes now 264 gymnasts  from 38 countries .
  

• Seit Einführung der GYMmedia-Weltrangliste (Olympische Spiele Atlanta 1996) bleibt  

  Alexei Nemow

  auch die NUMMER EINS der
  GYMmedia-Weltrangliste
  zu Beginn des olympischen Jahres 2000!

• Somit trennen Alexei Bondarenko (RUS) vom führenden Alexei Nemow (RUS) noch etwas mehr als 40 Punkte.

• Naoya Tsukahara (JPN) rückt bis auf 12 Punkte an das russische Führungstrio heran.

• Zum ersten Mal konnte ein Turner ein Internationales Turnier gewinnen, der bisher noch nicht in der letzten Rangliste vertreten war. Zheng, Lihui  (CHN) - beste Turner in Sydney - ist nun erstmal in der Weltrangliste (Platz 95). Der frisch gebackene australische Mehrkampfmeister Pavel Mamin ist neu in der Weltrangliste (171.).

• Die gesamte aktuelle GYMmedia- Weltrangliste umfaßt nun bei den Männern 264 Athleten aus 38 Ländern.
