REPORT:
--- Jelena Zamolodchikova started
this final well and finally ended up on rank 2 with her routine
including salto bw. tucked – ff – ff ½ turn to support as
well as a standing arabian. She only had to make a slight step
on her double salto bw. tucked dismount.
>> Verona van de Leur
lost all chances to win a medal after a fall right at the
beginning of her routine. The rest of it was presented well
until the 21/2 twists dismount.
>> Also Jana Komrskova
fell on her salto fw. mount and she also messed up her dismount
– only a simple bw. salto tucked was not enough and she ended
up on rank 8.
>> Sun, Xiaojiao from
China presented a clean and difficult routine with one-armed ff-
ff – layout. She only had one slight wobble on a leap, in the
end it was enough for rank 1.
>> Tatiana Zharganova (BLR)
with several insecurities during her routine but she managed to
present the difficult ff ¼ turn to handstand very well.
|
The audience liked the routine of Daniele
Hypolito a lot but with one fall during the routine
she lost all chances on a top position in this final.
>> Allana Slater presented
her routine very carefully and had a major break |
after the
first element in her combination – ff 1/1 twist – ff –
split layout bw. She was the only finalist with a double salto
bw. picked dismount.
>> The last starter Oksana
Chusovitina presented an elegant and safe routine
with split layout fw. – ff - layout. She also sticked her
double salto bw. tucked dismount and secured herself the bronze
medal.

REPORT:
--- Also in
the womens’s floor final quite a few not that perfect
routines were presented. (Out of the official competition)
Daria Bijak started for Germany with an expressive
choreography to Spanish music. However, she stepped out of
bounds on her double salto bw. picked dismount.
>> Yelena
Zamolodchikova’s routine was well liked by the audience
but she had some problems with her acrobatic elements.
Also she stepped out of bounds on her double salto bw.
picked dismount. Her team mate Nataila Ziganshina
presented a beautiful routine but couldn’t finish her
tuck jump full turn and fell on her double salto bw.
picked. Already in the week before at the World
Championships Zhang Nan impressed with her beautiful floor
routine. Today she presented it well with a secure triple
twist and ended up on rank 2.
>> Allana Slater had a better
start on floor than on bars. She presented her expressive
choreography solidly and secured herself rank 3. In
contrast to the week before, where she won the silver
medal on floor at the World Championships, Verona van de
Leur today ended up on top of the winners‘ podium. She
started her beautiful and difficult floor routine with a
picked Tsukahara and also presented the rest of her
routine faultlessly.
>> Oksana Chussovitina started her
routine with a double layout followed in the next row by a
tucked Tsukahara. With a SV of 9.4 she reached the score
of 8.925 and ended up on rank 4.
>> Yevgenia Kuznetzova’s
orientalic choreography was well liked by the audience and
she presented it solidly (SV 9.3). In the last floor final
of her career Romania’s gymnastics queen Andrea Raducan
showed a beautiful routine, however with slight problems.
The landing of her combination whip – double salto bw.
picked could only be secured by a large step. With a start
value of 9.4 and the score of 8.637 she ended up on rank
7.
