WOMEN's TEAM World Champions |
German
|
For more than 15 years
already make
only four nations
in women's gymnastics
mutually the
medals among themselves:
Twice the
team title went to
Romania (1999, 2001),
once to China
(2006) and also once
to Russia (2010,
Rotterdam)
|
|
... and previously
4x -
this last twice in a row
to the
USA, which realized the hat-trick
of the current pre-Olympic
Worlds 2015 in
Glasgow, because already in the
preliminaries the US dominated
girls with a compelling
team performance and won the team title now to
the fifth time.
* Doha 2018:
Course Gold - that was the US girls' clear motto after an
overwhelming qualifying competition, also with more than 9 points ahead of Russia and China
in the Team Final. These 3 medallists are qualified for the Olympic Games 2020 in Tokyo already; in Stuttgart 2019 will follow the other 9 nations ...!
USA - unbeatable again in Stuttgart 2019, winning the 9th golden teammedal in a row in this decennium!! |
