Trampoline World Cup in Belgium
For the 25th time in her career the Russian Olympic Champion of 2000 (Sydney), the Russian super star Irina Kabaeva, won a world cup event , this weekend in Ostende, Belgium - a record which will exist surely for a long time!
Like at the last world cup a week ago the Ukrainian Yuri Nikitin was in a top form again and won the men's individual.
Both athletes also won the synchron event each with their partners...

At the  "International Astronaut Alexandrov-Tournament" - which is also the fourth World Cup Competition of the present FIG series - athletes representing 19 countries competed this weekend in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia. Olympic champion of 2004, Yuri Nikitin (Ukraine) and Olympic champion of 2000 Irina Karavaeva (Russia) once again won the competition.
The Synchronized competition was dominated by  Yasuhiro Ueyama / Tetsuya Sotomura from Japan, ...

China have dominated the 3rd Trampoline World Cup in  Kunshan,  China's east Jiangsu province. Chinese athletes bounced their way to all the important medals in the men's and women's individual events.
China's rookie Dong Dong conquered the audience and referees with his perfect performance to take the men's individual event....

Russia's 2000 Olympic champion  Irina Karavaeva won the women’s trampoline gold medal at the first world cup event of the new season in Lake Placid (USA) with a score of  38.60. Canadian Karen Cockburn was second with a 37.90, followed by Zhong Xinping of China in third at 37.60.
In men’s trampoline, 2004 Olympic champion Juri Nikitin’s 40.70 came first.
