F.I.G.: Innovation and review of 2017 Worlds head Trampoline TC agenda

The Trampoline Gymnastics Technical Committee of the International Gymnastics Federation (F.I.G.) undertook an in-depth review of the 2017 World Championships in Sofia (BUL) as it began making preparations for November’s next edition in St Petersburg (RUS) and fine-tuned proposals for new events during its meeting 24-27 February in Lausanne.  * Source: ► fig website

25th TRAMPOLINE World Age Group Competitions finished

After four days of competition (Nov 16 - 19), the 25th World Age Group Competitions (WAGC) in Trampoline Gymnastics came to a close at the Arena Armeec Sunday with junior gymnasts from 17 countries returning from Sofia (BUL) with medals around their necks.
The 32 titles up for grabs were shared between 14 countries. More than 900 junior gymnasts performed in Individual, Synchronised and Double Mini-trampoline as well as in Tumbling in the age categories 11-12, 13-14, 15-16...

32nd World Championships of Trampoline & Tumbling

The 32nd edition of the 2017 World Trampoline & Tumbling Championships take place at the Arena Armeec in Sofia, Bulgaria, from Nov. 9-12, at the same place like the 29th Trampoline Worlds in 2013.
This year a total of 290 athletes from 34 countries will participate in the World Championships, which features competition in trampoline, synchronized trampoline, double mini-trampoline and tumbling. The athletes will fight altogether for 14 World Titles

Final World Cup before 2017 Trampoline Worlds

* f i g - report ---: At the last World Cup event before the 2017 Trampoline World Championships in November in Sofia (BUL), China’s Dong Dong, the triple World and double Olympic champion, and his compatriot Zhu Xueying, the 2014 Youth Olympic champion, won the men’s and women’s individual competitions respectively. 2017 WORLD GAMES: Golden finish for Britain, China, Ukraine, USA

The first British gold medal in any sport at The World Games 2017 in the Polish city of  Wrocław was delivered courtesy of four young acrobats whose show-stopping performance lit up Centennial Hall Wednesday night, July 26.
As the British rejoiced, Ukraine and the USA savored their own golden moments, and a Chinese tumbling star who tied for gold four years ago at The World Games finally got to stand solo on the podium.
