After the celebratory opening ceremony yesterday, the first competitions have started during the 25th Trampoline World Championships in Québec (Canada):

During the qualification tournaments in men's double mini tramp men and also in women's tumbling, Russia achieved the highest team score and therewith qualified for the finals.

Since early afternoon and until late evening (10pm local time = 5 hours later in Germany) the pre-competitions in trampoline gymnastics are taking place.

"Tournament of Friendship" has been taking place for 35 years
With a total of 140 particiants from 12 countries, the 35th Tournament of Friendship, which took place in Kladno near the Czech capital Prague in mid-September, was well frequented.

The two trophies however stayed in the Czech Republic, both Lenka Honzakova (34,9) the winner of the ladies' competition and Petr Dufek (36,5), the winner in the men's competition, belong to Czech clubs.
