PREVIEW: 21 European Championships of Sports Acrobatics

The 21st European Championship for seniors and the 5th European Championship for juniors in acrobatic gymnastics will be held in Zielona Gora / POL from November 6th to 9th 2003. It will be the first time that both Championships will be organised together. 11 (seniors) respectively 15 (juniors) nations will participate.

Nearly 200 gymnasts representing 17 countries will participate in these 21st European Championships in acrobatic gymnastics. The competitions will include the categories Women's Pairs, Men's Pairs, Mixed...

Flanders ACRO CUP - the biggest Sports Acrobatics event for Clubs

The International Flanders Acro Cup 2003 was held last weekend in Puurs, Belgium, on April 11th to 12th.
Many gymnasts came from 12 different European countries and took part at the competition with th consequence of a very long competition day on Saturday. The event started at 9 a.m. and to finished after a distance of more than 14 hours, at 11:40 p.m.

US Sports Acrobatics: No International Travel be permitted...

Carisa Laughon, the Program Director of Sports Acrobatics (USA Gymnastics) informs, that the United States will not be sending a delegation to this year’s Acro Cup Albershausen (at the end of April). 'With the uncertain world situation and possible war, our athletes are hesitant to travel outside of the country. In addition, our federation’s President has instructed that no international travel be permitted at all if war begins with Iraq', so Carisa Laughon wrote.
