Gymnastics Federation of Thailand will organize the 1st Aerobic Gymnastics Asian Championships during the period 05-07/12/2008.
The Aerobic Gymnastics which is a top-level competition sport that presents dynamic moves, strength, flexibility, co-ordination and musically in a routine, this discipline is not widespread in the whole Asian Continent.
Hosting for the first time this event in Bangkok is a big occasion to promote and develop this discipline.

In the course of an international meeting, the German Sport Aerobic Team of the TSG-Neustadt an der Weinstraße (Germany Palatinate) travelled to Selçuk / Turkey, nerby Izmir in October 2008.
