In Moutier/Switzerland the F.I.G. executed the drawing of lots for the '8th WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS of SPORTS AEROBICS', which will held in Sofia, Bulgaria, this year, from June 3 to June 5 and for the '1st International Age Group Competition', which will held also in Sofia from May 28 to May 30.
The World Champs of Sports Aerobics and the '1st International Age Group Competition' include the five categories 'Individual Men', 'Individual Women', 'Mixed Pairs', 'Trios' and 'Groups'

'Aerobic Gymnastics Club of the Year 2004' in FIG category went to 'Heathrow Aerobic Gymnastics'. They had more points in total than secons placed 'Waterside GC' and third place 'Pinewood GC' put together. 'Heathrow Aerobic Gymnastics' must be commendet for their third title in the major events of the year 2004 'Alex Strachan Cup', 'Welsh Open' and the 'British Open' and consistency in producing many top quality athletes.
Giovanna Lecis (ITA) and Gregory Alcan (FRA) became European Champions of individual competitions of 3rd European Championships of Sports Aerobics in Debrecen (HUN).
The Romanians Lacatus / Nicolai (Mixed Pairs), the Trio of Spain and the group of Romania are the other European Champions.
More than 20 nations were participated in this Championships hosted by the European Gymnastics Union.
The qualification competitions of trios and mixed pairs, the 3rd European Sport Aerobics Championships finished in Debrecen (HUN) this evening.

From September 19th to 21st 2003 the shopping center „Allee-Center“ in Leipzig-Grünau presents the world’s best Aerobic sportsmen and sportswomen.
More than 300 participants from 20 nations and 5 continents are expected to show various sportive highlights. Among the teams from Spain, Romania, Russia, Mexico, Italy, France, Chile and Bulgaria is also the German one with the current German Champions Janka Daubner (SV Halle) and Julian Drescher (SAC Berlin).
