This weekend the F.I.G. world cup (Cat. B) of Sports Aerobic 'MILENIO' was held in the capital of Mexico, in Mexico-City.

Most successfully were the Mexican host, winning three of four elite disciplines and also two of juniors category.

Lubov Gazov from Austria was the only one European winner at this tworld cup tournament in juniors femal individual, followed by Daiana Nanzer (ARG) and Belen Konic (ARG)

The 4th EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS of AEROBICS' will held from Otober 27 - 30, to the first time together with the 1st European Junior Championships.
Host City is Coimbra, the fourth largest city of Portugal and the capital city of the central part of the country.
Age Groups and Juniors events are finished;
Romania was the most successful nation, winning four of the five titles of elite categories on Sunday...

Thailand will host the 1st Asian Indoor Games 2005 from November 12 to 19 .
They will take place in Bangkok, Chon Buri, Suphan Buri, and Phuket.
The Asian Indoor Games comprise nine sports, namely swimming, hoop takraw, dance sports, sports aerobics, indoor athletics, futsal, indoor cycling, muay, or kick boxing, and extreme sports, which includes bicycle stunt flatland, bicycle stunt park, inline skate, skate board, and sports climbing....

With a really brilliant performance the 'Number One' of the FIG world ranking list, the Romanian Daniela Izabela Lacatus got the title at the today's final of the world Cup '2nd German Aerobics Open' in Leipzig, Germany.
In an original manner this world cup event was held in the historical but modern eastern Hall of the main train station of Leipzig.
In men's category the best of qualification, the Italian Vito Iaia loose against the Spaniard Ivan Parejo.

Former Romanian Olympian Vanda Hadarean represents Canada at the upcoming World Fitness Championships.

Romanian-born Vanda Hadarean (now aged 29) - a promising artistic gymnastics junior gymnast in the early nineties as well as a solid Romanian team member of the 1991 World Championships, winning the bronze medal in the Hoosher Dome of Indianapolis and Olympic silver medallist (team) in Barcelona (1992)
