Coimbra hosts the 1st meeting between the principle partners responsible for the organisation of the 2005 Aerobic Gymnastics European Championships and Fitness Convention (October 27-30), namely the UEG, the Gymnastics Federation of Portugal and its Organising Committee (OC) as well as the representatives of the city of Coimbra.

On weekend from 8th to 10th April to be held at the World Expo in Nagoya-Aichi (Japan) the 15th Suzuki World Cup 2005 - organized from the International Aerobic Federation IAF.
