FIG announces qualified countries for the World Games 2009

After the results of the qualifications at the 10th Aerobic World Championships in Ulm the international gymnastics federation FIG nannounced the countries which have qualified for the present for the World Games 2009 in Kaohsiung (Chinese Taipei). Eight places per category were nominated with regard to a Wild Card:

Gold for Mira Keränen (FIN) at Finish Aerobic Open

The 19-year-old Mira Keränen won with 19,650 points the Finnish Aerobic Open 2008 in Turku (Finland), which were also the Finish Championships, followed by Saija Saarinen (17,550) and Pauliina Raatikainen (17,000).
The new Champion Mira Keränen and Leena Enbom will participate in the 10th Aerobic World-Championships in Ulm (Germany).

International Club-Meeting: Gold for Martina Perlakova (SVK) - GYMfamily Event -

At the "3rd International Aerobic-Club-Meeting" in the gym of the Friedrich-Schiller- Grammar school in the city of Eisenberg, Thuringia, Martina Perlacova from Slovakia won in the categoriy  "Individual Women" with 18,90 points, curt before Czech Katerina Hortova from Brno (18,900) and her compatriot Zuzana Stavjanova from Zlin (17,600). Lena Bartschies from Hannover ranked fourth with 15,800 points.
