Friday evening in Bremen (Germany) was finished the second International course of the European Gymnastics Union UEG for coaches of rhythmic gymnastics. In instruction of the host DTB the wellknown international judge and coach from Leipzig Birgit GUHR was responsible for organisation.
All together 64 coaches from 18 different countries took part....
According to information from the FIG Headquarters in Moutier, Switzerland, on January 29, 2003, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has confirmed the FIG sanctions to Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics stars Alina Kabaeva and Irina Tchachina, following their positive anti-doping test in Brisbane, in 2001.
