Ten years after the 1999 Worlds (Osaka) the ambitious gymnastic nation Japan is the host again of the 29th WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS of RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS, which take place from September 07 - 13 in the city of Mie, centrally located on the Japanese island chain. The Ukrainian all-around worldchampion (2007, Patras), Olga BESSONOVA was the winner of the all-around world cup decision in Kiev last weekend. She scored a total of 113,550 points, followed by the former world champion (2005, Baku), Olga KAPRANOVA (RUS; 107,625) with to much mistakes in her performances. On third came the Bulgarian Sylvia MITEVA (106,925). Bessonova won also all the apparatus finals at Sunday.
