FIG Appeal Tribunal rules in Rhythmic Gymnastics case

* fig-press--: The FIG Appeal Tribunal has unanimously rejected the appeals of former Rhythmic Gymnastics Technical Committee President Maria Szyszkowska (POL), current TC President Natalya Kuzmina (RUS), five other Technical Committee members and 16 rhythmic judges, confirming the cancellation of exam results, judges brevets and most sanctions initially imposed by the FIG Disciplinary Commission earlier this year.

For the very first time the organizers of the 53rd GYM Festival BLUME Gran Canaria, which is firstly a popular general sports event actually, organized also an International Tournamentn RHYTHMIC LAS PALMAS of Rhythmic Gymnastics (groups). This competition preniere was won by the German Master group, the formation "SKC TaBeA" Halle. All Japanese Rhythmic Gymn. Championships 2013

For the third time the Japanese top gymnast Runa YAMAGUCHI from the leading club "AEON" won the national all-around title of the 2013 All Japanese Championships of Rhythmic Gymnastics. With a score of 61,300 points she beat her concurrent from the Club Angel KAGAWA RG NICCHU, Sumire KITA, who scored 56,250. Bronze medallist was Uzume KAWASAKI (AEON) with 55,80 points.
