The 28th Rhythmic Gymnstics Chacott Championships 2010 was held in the Japanese capital at Tokyo.
This competition and the partnership with the co. "Chacott" has a long and successful tradition in Japan specially for the development of young talents of rhythmic gymnastics.
This competition is for All Japanese Junior gymnasts at the age of 11 to 15 years.

After the this year's Grand Prix events in Moscow (RUS),  the "Deryugina Cup" in Kiev, the tournaments of  Thiais (FRA) , in Marbella and Innsbruck (Austria) and Holon (ISR) the 7th event took place in Brno (CZE) now this weekend.

It was the first Grand Prix after the 30th World Championships in Moscow at the end of September.

Once again the Russian Gymnastic Scholl, specially the Team GAZPROM was the winner of the "AEON CUP 2010", which took place in Tokyo this weekend.
<< Team GAZPROM won these inofficial "world club championships" with a final score of 334,675 and a big difference of nearly 13 points in front of the Byelorussian team of "DINAMO Minsk", followed by the Ukrainian "DERIUGINA School" from Kiev.

The Ukrainian national coach and FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics expert Nina Vitrichenko (UKR) passed away on October 2, 2010 felled by illness.
Nina Vitrichenko was particularly active in the FIG gymnastics Academies where she shared her know-how to train a whole generation of experts and trainers. She was one of the prominent personalities of the Ukrainian gymnastics and the founder of the famous Kiev School.
