At the third RG Grand Prix tournament of 2006 series in Thiais (FRA) in the all around competition the Russians got the first places. Vera Sesina(65,525) won in front of Olympic Champion Alina Kabaeva (65,325) and World Champion Olga Kapranova(65,200).
Vera Sesina was the best gymnast of the finals, too. She won with rope, ball an clubs; Olga Kapranova took the first place of final with ribbon.
The tradition tournament in its 20. edition has again...

This weekend the traditional European rhythmic gymnastics competition 'Coupe d'Opale' was held with its 19 anniversary in Calais, France.
Once again Russian gymnasts were the best in elite's but also in juniors cateries...

After winning the all-around competition (67,575), of the Grand Prix in Kiev (Ukraine) at the '14th Derjugina Cup 2006', yesterday, Natalia Godunko was the most successful gymnast also of the final day, winning two of four event finals.
The clubs final went to the all-around world champion from Russia, Olga Kapranova and Anna Bessonova wins with the ball....

Olympic Champion Alina Kabaeva and also her Russian teammate Vera Sessina didn't start at this Grand Prix in Kiev....

At the second day of the 11th INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT MADEIRA 2006 the Russian Maryna Shpehkt wins with two top exercises with clubs and ribbon. Leading after the first day's rotations she beats Liubov Charkashyna from Belarus, followed by the Spanish star Almudena Cid Tostado (ESP) . The Spanish 'Lady of Gymnastics' gets the special price with a 100% voting of all journalists. This 'Prix d'elegance was sponsored by the company d'villena

All together nine from ten reachable successes went to the Russian gymnasts at the '17th Schmiden INTERNATIONAL TOUNAMENT' which was held this weekened in the German top center of Rhythmic Gymnastics in Schmiden, near Stuttgart.
The all-around winner Evgenia KANAEVA won also all the four finals at Sunda and her younger teammate Natalia PICHUZHKINA did nearly the same, but only the German Karolina RASKINA from Schmiden won the juniors final with the ribbon at the end of these two...
