Seven months after dominating the Stuttgart World Championships, Yana Kudryavtseva and Margarita Mamun, the two Russian queens of Rhythmic Gymnastics,made their return to the World Cup stage in Pesaro, Italy from Friday to Sunday (April 01 - 03). Over the last two seasons, the Russians have become accustomed to monopolising the top two places on the podium, with Kudryatseva usually taking gold and Mamun generally having to content herself with silver. << Veronica LEPEKHA, the current Berlin champion from gymnastics center Berlin, was one of the winners of the 8th International City Cup 2016 of Rhythmic Gymnastics, which was held this Saturday in the City of Duesseldorf in Germany.

For the 30th time the International Tournament of Rhythmic Gymnastics was held in the Paris suburb Thiais. In the rank of a Grand Prix it was the second tournament in the Olympic year to Moscow (February).

At the traditional  "29th MTM-Tournament 2016" in the Gymnastics Center of the Slovenian capital Ljubljana Russia's world champion Margarita MAMUN scored 75,950 points and won the all-around competition. With a difference of -2.6 the Belarus champion Melitina STANIOUTA came on second place with 73,350, followed by Linoy ASHRAM from Israel with a score of 71,350 points.
Behind the Spaniard Carolina Rodriguez (70,750) Austria's Nicol Ruprecht came on fifth place (70,300), together with Katsiaryna Halkina from Byelorussia.
