PREVIEW: 3rd World Cup of Rhythmic Gymnastics 2010

After hte season's start in Montreal, followed by the second World Cup in Debrecen now the city of Portimao will organize the 3rd World Cup of Rhythmic Gymnastics of the 2010 circuit. 45 individual gymnasts and 15 groups representing 26 countries are expected to compete in Portimao, and all the top players are in! Also at the  World Cup-Season start of rythmic gymnastics, the leading ambition of the gymnastics nation Russia is more than pressing:
With all 4 hand appartus wins by the Olympic winner and World Champion  Evgenia Kanaeva and the win of another 4 medals by Daria Dmitrieva (second with rope and ball) as well as Daria Kondakova (second with wheel and band) Russland achieved the maximum of all medal possibilities.

Triple Success of German team at GYMNASTICS INTERNATIONAL

It was a huge knot, which obscured the win for the favorite - the Russian national group, and even the 3 strings and two ropes were not to be untangled after leaving the mat. For the 20th time "GYMNASTICS INTERNATIONAL"

The German federal sports centre RSG Fellbach-Schmiden, which celebrated its 25-year existence last fall, is again, after a break of 2 years, the host of its tradition tournament "GYMNASTICS INTERNATIONAL", which will take place on the 6. - and 7. March 2010.

Prelude of Rhythmic Grand Prix Circuit 2010

The world's top star of Rhythmic Gymnastic, the Russian Evgenia Kanaeva (113,850) and her teammate Daria Kondakova (112,200) take the lead of the first Grand Prix of Rhythmic Gymnastics, which takes place in the Russian capital Moscow this weekend.  On third place of the all-aroun qualification came the Byelorussian Staniuta Melitina (109,800).
But at the Sunday's final Kondakova beats th big champion Kanaeva with rope and ribbon...!
The "Gazprom Cup" includes also elite and junior group competitions ...
