The Rhythmic Gymnastics Team of Kazakhstan was the winner of the nation competition of the 3rd Asian Gymnastics Championships 2006', which are held in Surat, India.
Best of all-round was Aliya Yusupova (KAZ) with a score of 63.640, followed by the Japanese Yukari Murata (55.570) and the Chinese Xiao, Yiming (53,980).
Yussupova and her nation Kazakhstan won all the 6 gold medals in rhythmic gymnastics in a prepotent manner. On second place came China (0-1-3), followed by Korea...

The president of the wellknown Japanese Chacott Co., Ltd., Mr. Toshio KOBAYASHI concluded an official sponsorship contract with the Belarus Gymnastics Association this year.
The international top sports wear brand Chacott is also a partner for rhythmic gymnastics GYMmedia reports worldwide since 2005.

From now on Chacott supports every Byelorussian coaches, gymnasts - men and women - but also the rhythmic gymnastics teams.

Last weekend were held the Japanese Trials for the this year's 15th Asian Games in Doha (QAT) in December.
In the Japanese capital Tokyo Yukari Murata, Ai Yokochi, Yuria Ohnuki and Sayaka Nakano were the best national rhythmic gymnasts at this competition.

Murata and Yokochi continue their careers. Murata changed this year to the 'Nippon University of Physical Education' and refreshed to start her training at new surrounding and good results.

Without the elite from Ukraine and Bulgaria host Russia dominated the World Cup Tournament' of rhythmic gymnastics which was held in Irkutsk, Russia this weekend:
Winner of the Friday's all-around competition was the Russian Vera Sessina, followed by her teammate and reigning all-around world champion Olga Kapranova and the Russian newcomer Marina Spekht.
Sessina was also double winner at the final events with rope and ribbon.

Olympic Champion Alina Kabaeva (RUS) was the all-around winner of the 7th Grand Prix tournament of the 2006 circuit of rhythmic gymnastics.
In Holon (Israel) she won with a score of 99,100 points, followed by her teammate Vera Sessina (69,025) and the Byelorussian Inna Shukova (67,975)
Kabaeva was also the best with the clubs.
