After their all-around victory from yesterday the Russian senior group today won the final with 5 ribbons. Bulgaria reached the 2nd place and Belarus ended up on rank 3. The German group reached a very good 6th place in this final.
A double success for Ukraine has been the final of the individual gymnasts with clubs. Anna Bessonova won her 2nd European Champion title and on rank 2 followed her teammate Tamara Yerofeeva. The bronce medal in this final...

The Russian group matched up to its role as favourite and won the European Championships All-Around of the Seniors’ Groups ahead of Bulgaria and Italy. The German group became 8th and qualified for the final with 5 ribbons.
Anna Bessonova (Ukraine) is new European Champion with hoop; Zarina Gizikova (RUS) placed 2nd, Tamara Yerofeeva became third (UKR).

The Russian senior and junior groups were the best of the first day of the 19th European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Riesa. The 1st presentation (exercise with 2 balls and 3 hoops) of senior groups as a part of all around group competition was ted by the Russian World Champions. Bulgaria and Italy follow with very incredible exercises.
The junior groups had a qualification competition with their exercise with hoops. The groups from Russia, Belarus, Greece and Bulgaria...

From 04 to 06 April 2003 the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships 2003 for senior groups, junior groups and the 16 best individual gymnasts of the last European Championships in 2002 take place in Riesa (GER).
Today, all groups and individual gymnasts made their last training in Riesa. Altogether 37 groups and 17 individual gymnasts will take part in this European Championships.
Romania and Cyprus called their participation off.
