Grand Prix: 30th International Thiais 2016

For the 30th time the International Tournament of Rhythmic Gymnastics was held in the Paris suburb Thiais. In the rank of a Grand Prix it was the second tournament in the Olympic year to Moscow (February).
And again dominated Russia's gymnasts who won by Margarita Mamun (all-around, hoop, clubs) and by Alexandra Soldatova (ball and ribbon) all the individual disciplines.

Margarita Mamun wins MTM Tournament in Ljubljana 2016

At the traditional  "29th MTM-Tournament 2016" in the Gymnastics Center of the Slovenian capital Ljubljana Russia's world champion Margarita MAMUN scored 75,950 points and won the all-around competition. With a difference of -2.6 the Belarus champion Melitina STANIOUTA came on second place with 73,350, followed by Linoy ASHRAM from Israel with a score of 71,350 points.
Behind the Spaniard Carolina Rodriguez (70,750) Austria's Nicol Ruprecht came on fifth place (70,300), together with Katsiaryna Halkina from Byelorussia.

2017 Rhythmic Gymnastics Worlds in Pesaro

Rhythmic Gymnastics - Drawing for Pre-Olympic Testevent

* fig-news --: The drawing of lots for April's Aquece Rio Test Event, the final opportunity for gymnasts to qualify to compete at the 2016 Olympic Summer Games, was held Wednesday at FIG Headquarters in Lausanne (SUI).
The draw determines the rotation order for each country in the competition, which can play a big role in the strategy of gymnasts.
