Irina Tchachina (RUS), who had won the Pre-Olympics competition this week, was again the best of all around in Thiais, at the 2rd Grand Prix tournament of 2004 series. She won with 109,250 in front of Anna Bessonova (107,350 / UKR) and Alya Yussupova (105,125 / KAZ).
World Champion Alina Kabaeva (RUS) became 4th - she won the finals with clubs and ribbon, Tchachina was the best with hoop and ball.

Rhythmic Gymnastics

Irina Kazakova (101,499) from Russia won the all around of international 'Krystina-Georgiew-Cup' in Schmiden (GER) in front of Lisa Ingildeeva (GER / 97,749) and Marina Shpekht (RUS / 96,199). Kazakova was the best of all finals, too.
Ekaterina Donich (RUS / 60,699) was the best of junior's competition. 2nd place got Lydia Lott (58,332), 3rd Amelia Bilali (56,165), both from Schmiden/GER. Donich won the finals with rope and ball, Lott was the best with clubs.

Liasan Utyasheva (RUS / 100,550) won the Coupe d'Opale of Calais (FRA). Delphine Ledoux (FRA / 93,325) got silver medal, Berfin Sutcu (TUR / 91,900) became 3rd.
The best of junior competition: 1. Aline Kotsar (RUS / 89,300), 2. Maria Yushkevich (BLR / 84,550), 3. Johanna Gabor (GER / 79,250).
