The '4th No Limits Open 2004' of Rhythmic Gymnastics will held in Ekeren, Belgium, from May 21 to 23.
This event became an 'FIG tournament' in 2002.
About 60 gymnasts from 20 different countries and 3 different continents will participate this year. Special guests will be former Olympic champion Lori Fung from Canada (Los Angeles 1984), Irina Deleanu (ROM), Domenika Cervenkova (selected for Czech Republic to go to the Olympic Games in Athens) and many more...

Rhythmic Gymnastics

In Bratislava (SVK) the traditional Danube Cup took place this weekend with gymnasts from 13 countries. Alija Garajewa (RUS) won in front of Valeria Kurilskaja (BLR) and Maja Paunovska (BUL).

On weekend too in the Meadowside Leisure Centre of Burton-upon-Trent the Meadowside International Rhythmic Tournament took place. The best Rhythmic Gymnast of Great Britain, Hannah McKibbin, was the best before the young Russian Zarina Mukhitdinow and Foong Seow Ting from Malaysia.

Serdil Sutcu (TUR) won the all around of International Tournament of Portimao (POR) in front of Raquel Silva (POR) and Tjasa Seme (SLO).

Brasilian Karen Piccinin was the best of juniors all around in front of Juulia Huuhtanen and Pauliina Raatikainen (both FIN).

Alltogether 30 elite gymnasts and 24 junior gymnasts took part in this traditional tournament on Algarve in Portugal.

HONOLULU - Mary Sanders (USA) won the Senior Women's all-around gold medal on Friday at the Rhythmic Gymnastics competition of the 2004 Pacific Alliance Gymnastics Championships in Honolulu, Hawai`i.
On second place came thre Rissian Svetlana Pountinseva, followed by Alexandra Orlando (CAN)...
