Tomorrow the SEA Games 2005 which take place in Manila/ Philippines will end after 15 days of competitions. 5336 athletes participated in 50 kinds of sports, among them artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics and sports aerobics.
The participating nations are: Brunei, Kambodcha, East- Timur, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Rhythmic Gymnastics

Athletes from Bulgaria, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Turkey and Romania will participate starting today in rhythmic gymnastics for the Balkan Championships in Bucharest.

The opening festivities will take place on Friday a 4 pm. On Saturday, the competition will start at 4:30 pm while the finals and the awards ceremony will take place on Sunday after 2 pm.

The most famous gymnasts come from Bulgaria, which is one of the leading nations of Rhyhtmic Gymnastics.

From November 4 to 6, the All Japan Rhythmic Gymnastcs Championships2005 were held at Hyogo.
Yukari Murata is the best national gymnast again in Japan, winning this all-around title to the fifth time incessantly from 2001 on!

This month British Gymnastics signed a seven-year sponsorship deal with the Korean electronics brand LG. From October 28 to 30 the AEON CUP 2005 take place in Tokyo, Japan.
This AEON Cup is somewhat like the inofficial 'Team worlds for clubs' of rhythmic gymnastics.
Alltogether 21 clubs from 21 countries take part at this competition, including all the worldwide top stars.

The best eight clubs - on top the Russian GASPROM - steped up the second round, also the 6 senior gymnasts and juniors are qualified for the next round...
