The five times European Champion Alina Kabaeva (RUS), World Champion 2003, dominated the Grand Prix tournament in Holon (ISR). She won the all around competition and also three of four finals (hoop, clubs, ribbon). Her teammate Olga Kapranova won the final with ball. Vice-World and Vice-European Champion Anna Bessonova (UKR) became second in the all around and with hoop, fourth with ball, terminated the competition prematurely.
This tournament in Holon was the 5th of 8 Grand Prix Tournaments...

The Russian Team with Alina Kabaeva and Irina Tchachina won the title of a European Team Champion to the fourth time in progression with a score of 208,400 points.
The silver medal of these 20th European Championships of rhythmic gymnastics went to host Ukraine (200.550), represented by Anna Bessonova, Natalia Godunko and Tamara ErofeevaThird place got Belorussia (189,775).
The best gymnast in the individual all-around, the Russian Alina Kabaeva is the top favorite of the today's all-around...

Russias top star Alina Kabaeva won the all-around titel of the 20th European Championships of Rhythmic Gymnastics in Kiev to the 5th time!
She won gold with a score of 106,625, followed by Anna Bessonova (104,400), who made a mistake in her robbon exercice!
The bronze medal went to the Ukrainian Godunko (100,200), followed by Shukova (BLR / 98,100) und Andriola (GRE/ 95,500).

The Czech gymnast Dominika Cervenkova was the most successful at the international 'NO LIMITS OPEN' in Antwerp / Belgium last weekend.
On second place came the Dutch Anna Pobokova, folowed by Katerina Kopacova (CZE). Cervenkova won also the finals with hoop and ball.
Best gymnast of the 'Benjamins category' was the canadian Bao, Bao Dou, the 'Hopes category' was won by Rina Lalciu from Romania and in the youngest age group 'Mini Benjamins' the Belgian Beatrice Bijlstra...

The Rusisan group won the finals on Sunday at the 'German Rhythmic Gymnastics Open' in Duisburg after having already clearly dominated yesterday’s all-around. The current World Champions won as well the final with 5 ribbons (25.750) as also the one with 2 balls/ 3 hoops (25.800) in front of Italy (ribbons: 24.100) and Belarus (ribbons: 22.850) resp. Belarus (balls/hoops: 24.900) and Italy (balls/hoops: 24.100).
