After the four-series of World Cup Events within just one month (April 2019) in spring of 2019 the FIG started a five-series so-called World Challenge Cups.

1st Rhythmic Junior Worlds 2019

The brand-new Irina Viner-Usmanova Gymnastics Palace in Moscow hosted the 1st FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics Junior World Championships from 19-21 July with more than 300 young gymnasts from 60-plus nations competing for eight titles. A grand total of 129 gymnasts, representing 57 nations, have signed up for the individual programme, with a further 183 youngsters from 32 countries slated to take part in the group events.

UNIVERSIADE 2019 - Rhythmic Gymnastics

With the competitions of the rhythmic gymnastics the gymnastics events of the 2019 Students World Championships 2019 will be completed this weekend.
In the individual competitions, Russia and Elena SELEZNEVA are clearly in the lead in the qualifying rounds after the tires and ball equipment, as expected. Selezneva won also 3 apparatus finals, but Ukraine's Yeva MELESHCHUK won gold with the clubs, followed by Zohra AGHAMIROVA and SELEZNEVA on bronze place.

2019 EUROPEAN GAMES - Rhythmic Gymnastics

After a spectacular Opening Ceremony, the gymnastics competition kicked off today at the Minsk Arena. 12000 enthusiastic fans supported the rhythmic and acrobatic gymnasts competing for the first medals of the Games.
