German Champion Pascal Brendel injured

The former German all-around champion (2023) and current German floor champion Pascal BRENDEL (21) injured himself at the end of February during home training in Wetzlar after falling on the high bar. After breaking a metatarsal bone and undergoing surgery earlier this week, the four-time German champion and Olympic participant (Paris 2024) has been ruled out for the upcoming competitions, including the European Championships in Leipzig at the end of May. His focus will therefore initially be on his school work in connection with this year's school-leaving exams.
