The ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS EUROPEANS 2024

ITALY will host the European Gymnastics Championships for the 3^rd time in the Olympic year 2024:
After 1981 (14^th MEN's European Championships in Rome) and 2009 (30^th European Championships, Milan) and now 2024 in Rimini (both men and women).
♦♦ → For the men, it will be the 46th edition since 1955 from 24 - 28 April.
♦♦ For the women (02 - 05 May), it will be the 45th continental championship since 1957.

In the first half century, the champions were determined every two years.
Since 2005, the former UEG - now also known as ‘European Gymnastics’ (EG) - has organised the title fights annually, alternating between the individual and team European Championships.
* These current two continental championships are organised a good two months before the Olympic Games in the elite area, but as European Youth Championships they also have a high sporting significance for the next generation!
