The 61st BLUME Festival Gran Canaria 2023

Over 60 years old, long since fledged and travelling again:
<< The funny canary that calls annually to the BLUME Festival on the Canary Island: The 61^st festival in memoriam Joaquin BLUME, named after the Spanish Olympian and four-time European champion of 1957, after whose tragic death (plane crash in 1959) this gymnastics festival bears his name, opened November 24 after a press conference.
From November 24 to 30, over 400 international guests in 25 groups and clubs from 12 countries came together with almost 2,000 Canarian participants in 66 groups from all over the Canary Islands on many stages and in sports halls throughout Gran Canaria to presenting their creative programmes. More and more tourists are taking advantage of the many participatory offers for their individual exercise holidays - even international tourists book their private holidays after this date to experience the special "BLUME" Matinees.
* The first shows took place already on Friday (Nov. 24) in the island's capital Las Palmas and in the second largest city of Gran Canaria, in Telde, where also the top German gymnasts of the SKC TaBea Halle took part there ... and now, after an eventful week with lots of shows, workshops and matinees, this festive week of popular sport came to an end.
