2022 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS

For the fourth time, World Championships of Artistic Gymnastics will be held in the United Kingdom: after Birmingham in 1993, London in 2009 and Glasgow in 2015, athletes from all over the world will now meet in Liverpool, England, from 2022 October 29 to November 06.
This was decided by the World Gymnastcs Federation (FIG) in Istanbul in 2018.
Liverpool, a city of half a million people with strong Irish influences, is located in the northwest of England. It is home to the second largest export port in the UK. In addition to its soccer clubs, the city is also known for its musical exports - after all, the Beatles were once founded there.
The local dialect is known as "Scouse", named after a stew of the region.

♦♦  Arena and competition venue of the 51st Worlds of Artistic Gymnastics
... is the M&S Bank Arena, the city's largest event hall, located directly on the River Mersey and accommodating 11,000 spectators.
Compared to similar arenas, it produces only about half the CO2 emissions. This is due to solar panels, rainwater collection basins and wind turbines for greater sustainability and efficiency.
According to the will of the world gymnastics federation FIG, this is the first gymnastics world championship for which one had to qualify ...:
