From 2022 October 14-16, the Olympic city of Tokyo was the host of the very first FIG Parkour World Championships in history, whose development originated more than 30 years ago in the streets of the suburbs of Paris / France, where a group of young people created their own sport. and whose players are called "Traceuers" ...
♦♦ The Parkour rules include two disciplines
- each for women and men:
♦ SPEED - ... ere, a series of obstacles, boxes, ramps, poles must be passed through as quickly as possible over a distance of 80 meters;
♦ FREESTYLE - on the same course, the competitors have 70 seconds to convince the jury with their individual skills in overcoming the obstacles.
* The special design of the competition course will be announced to the participants only 36 hours before the start of the competition. Thus, especially creativity, flexibility and innovation are demanded!
* The Japan GymnasticsFederation (JGA) as organizer has relevant experience, as it has already organized ►2018 und 2019 in Hiroshima successfully first FIG Parkour World Cup events. The second World Cup event tiik place in ► 2019 in Montpellier / France
