f i g --: The Olympic qualification systems for TRAMPOLINE GYMNASTICS, RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS & ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS and for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games have now been published following approval by the Board of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) earlier this month:
A total of 318 athletes (192 in artistic gymnastics, 94 in gymnastics and 32 in trampoline) will compete for the medals in the French capital. With the qualification process set to begin in the coming months, the FIG would like to outline here the key events and key elements to consider on the road to Paris.
♦ Trampoline Gymnastics
The qualifying path for Trampoline is similar to that used for Tokyo. Half of the qualifying slots will be in play at the World Championships in Birmingham, United Kingdom, in November 2023. The eight finalists in the individual Men’s and individual Women’s Trampoline competitions will secure a ticket for their country to the Games – albeit with a limit of one per country.
The 2023–2024 World Cup Series will give the best-placed gymnasts another chance to represent their nations. Remaining places will be allocated so as to ensure the representation of all continents, based on the results of the 2024 continental championships.

Worth noting …
As the host nation, France is allocated a number of guaranteed places, which will be awarded to other countries if French athletes fill this quota through the qualifying process. There are also a few universality places reserved for gymnasts from under-represented countries, which will be selected by a tripartite commission for the Olympic movement a few months before the start of the Games.
