FIG Athlets commission:: Aljaz Pegan re- und Catalina Ponor new-elected

On the sidelines of the 2021 World Championships of artistic gymnastics in Kitakyushu, Japan, the Slovenian ex-high bar world champion from 2005, Aljaz PEGAN (47), was re-elected as athletes spokesman for a second term (until 2025). Since Montreal 2017 he worked together with Oksana Chusovitina (47; UZB) in the athletes' committee of FIG.
After Chusovitina this time Romania's five-time Olympic champion Catalina PONOR (34) received the highest number of votes.
Together, Ponor and Pegan will now attend the discipline's Technical Committee meetings as members of the FIG Athletes 'Commission to ensure that the athletes' voices are heard and their opinions are taken into account.
