For the first time since its premiere 44 years ago, the traditional International Leverkusen Cup will not take place this year!
Originally planned for October 3, the German organizers of the Turn-Club 72 Leverkusen had to forego inviting domestic and foreign guests after examining all options and despite the strict German Covid 19 hygiene concept in accordance with the Protection Ordinance.
Instead, the organization team around the chief organizers Dieter Schulz and Gabriele Pfeffer is looking ahead and will, in good hope and in good time, send out the invitations for the 45th edition in the Olympic autumn of 2021.
