US Nationals: Sam MIKULAK cruises to sixth Men's All-around Titel

* us-gymnastics --: Two-time World medalist Sam MIKULAK of Newport Coast, Calif./U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center, thrilled the crowd with high-flying skills and routines on his way to his sixth U.S. men’s all-around title at the 2019 U.S. Gymnastics Championships at Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo. Mikulak ties Makoto Sakamoto, who earned his sixth all-around title in 1970. With 86.750 in the 1st freestyle exercise and 87.400 points in the second, he left Yul MOLDAUER (Oklahoma, 84.00 / 84.600) second only to a clear margin. Bronze won Akash MODI (Stanford University). What level of performance is expected in the autumn at the World Championships in Stuttgart, also makes clear the fact that of the 23 championship participants who completed a full all-around competition on both days, the first 10 came all over the 80'd-point limit.
