Vasily TITOV elected president of All-Russian Association of Summer Olympic Sports

FIG and Russian Olympic Committee Vice-President Vasily TITOV (RUS) was elected president of the "All-Russian Association of Summer Olympic Sports" at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee in Moscow on 30 January. Titov, who is also president of the Russian Gymnastics Federation, replaces Vladimir Lisin, president of the Russian Shooting Union, who had held the position since 2011.
The All-Russian Association of Summer Olympic Sports is responsible for establishing effective dialogue between its 35 member federations and state authorities, coordinating with the Olympic Committee of Russia on matters related to the preparation and participation of athletes at the summer Olympic Games.
