TZ Bochum-Witten and his proud coach Shalva Dalakishvili from Georgia |
There was a victory of German gymnastic talent at the 5th International ZAG Cup 2018 in Hanover Vinnhorst, in Germany:
The this year's team title won the boys of the German talent club TZ Bochum-Witten 2010 with Erik Friesen, Nikita Prohorov, Florian Grela and Berkey Sen, and on top of it there was still a three-digit amount into the team cash!
In a thrilling fight and with a slight lead of +0.35 points, they narrowly defeated Gimnastika Egiba's Spanish guests to second place. Rank 3 went to the German hosts, to the team of the Lower Saxony Gymnastics Federation NTB.
♦ Best all-rounder of the Aga group 14/15 was the Spaniard Martin FLORES, who was also the only one who cracked the scoring wall of 70 points:
Exactly it wer 70,10 points, with which he clearly defeated the Dutchman Elias RIDDER (66.45) from the club RKDOS Kampen.
Germany's Michael STOLZ of VT Rinteln finished 3rd in the elite of the qualifying talent category as the best from Lower Saxonia with 66.40 points, followed by Marvin Block (TK Hanover, 64.15).
♦ The Spaniards of the club Gimnastika Egiba also dominated among the 12-13-year-olds - supervised by that coach, his protégé Miguel Zapata who was involved in the team of Tus Vinnhorstt in the second German Gymnastic League at the season victory north, and thus the rise in the top league - and here again with Aitor Gomez FLORES (67.00), the best multi-fighter, but he moved the Bochum Berkey SEN (66.25) already close to the bone.
Bryan Wohl from TuS Vinnhorst awarded in the AK 12/13 a place on the podium by a relegated to the last device, the horizontal bar. It was a good result that he belonged to the younger generation in this age group.
♦ However, the protégés of coach Shalva Dalakishvili of the TZ Bochum-Witten - a very dedicated coach, who comes from Georgia and lives in Germany - were especially strong in the youngest category, in the 11-year-old boys: Here they even scored with a double success by Florian GRELA (67.50, photo, right) in front of Nikita PROHOROV (64.75) and even got a third gymnast in the top six with Erik Friesen! Important points brought that and in the end also the team success.
The third-placed Lower Saxony (NTB 1) unfortunately had to forego the short-fared Marcel Graf - thus their bronze pitch without strike is more than just a respectable success.
