This month, the Czech and Slovakian Gymnastics community is looking back on the 100th anniversary of the former Czechoslovak Republic, and today's Slovak Gymnastics Federation, together with the Czech Federation, celebrated its 100th anniversary and invited to a formal conference at the hotel "NH Gate One" to Bratislava, as both national associations had been very successful together most of the way in the past century.
A large number of guests of honor had come to this anniversary, including 7 highly decorated international champions and many World and European Championship medal winners and 22 Olympians, .... in total more than 260 guests!

Among the guests of the 100th anniversary many of the formerly successful Olympic, World and European Championship teams of the former Czechoslovak Republic ... |
Who does not remember Jiří Tabák, who shared the European Championship gold medal on vault 1977 in Vilnius together with Ralph Bärthel from the GDR (Halle) and he also won the Olympic bronze medal or the unforgettable Věra Černá, the elegant World Champion from 1978 on balance beam in Fort Worth, who even left Nelli Kim behind on silver place ...
.. many faces and names that made history of history, they all celebrated joyful reunion, as Anna Marejková Krausová, František Bočko, Ingrid Potisková-Holkovičová, Zdena Jánošová-Bujnáčková, Anita Vyzinová-Šauerová, Jozef Konečný, Martin Modlitba, Barbora Mokošová, Slavomír Michňák, Anita Lamošová, Xénia Kilianová, - they all symbolized the successful way of the former Czech-Slovak history of gymnastics at this festive meeting.
Nice that you do not forget to appreciate this today. Without knowledge and appreciation of the past, the future is difficult to shape.
The last president of the federal association before the state separation of the two countries, Karol Spacek and his vice presidents George Fleischhans and John Novak led before the party once again a joint meeting of CGF and SGF.
There were historical retrospectives on film, video and photo presentations as well as in between the dignified and dynamic framing by the singers Mary Čírová and Robo Opatovský and the national aerobic hope, the mixed pair Losers.
