Gold-medal Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman and dozens of other women who spoke out about sexual abuse by Larry Nassar received the "Arthur Ashe Courage Award" at this year’s ESPYS. Over 140 survivors, including US Olympic gymnasts, took the stage to accept the 2018 "Arthur Ashe Courage Award" at the ESPYs this week (- short for "Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Award"). The 26th annual ESPY Awards took place in Los Angeles. The ESPYs, which stands for Excellence in Sports Yearly, honors the best of the sporting world with the majority of its awards voted on by fans online. It is an accolade currently presented by the American broadcast television network ABC, and previously ESPN.
