First Trampoline World Cup Event of the Year 2018

Just two weeks after the 26th European Trampoline Championships in Baku (AZE), the world's trampoline elite gathered for the first Trampoline World Cup Event of the year in Brescia, Italy, where a World Cup was held in 2016 for the first time. On Friday, the elite competitions began in the Centro Sportivo San Filipo there with the qualifying rounds, on Saturday followed the World Cup finals, which saw Chinese winners in front in three of the four disciplines:
The Men's Trampoline World Cup Winner was DONG Dong (60,430) and both synchronous competitions also went to China.
In the women's Olympic competition, however, China's Worlds finalist of the previous year, ZHU, Xueying was beaten by the Russian Irina KUNDIUS with the higher technically difficulty of her exercise.

After the World Cup opener in Brescia, the international trampoline elite will be followed by the next World Cup in the 50th International NISSEN CUPS in Arosa (SUI) in July, the third World Cup in Maebashi (JPN) in August and the fourth in October Portuguese Loulé.
The 33rd Trampoline World Championships in St. Petersburg in November 2018 will then be the highlight of the international trampoline year 2018.
