Japanese Juniors won the III. International Team Cup

Japan's national junior selection (U 18) won the team rating of the 3^rd International Junior Team Cup in Houston / Texas with a score of  244.90 points ahead of Great Britain (241.550) and the host USA (234.650). A total of seven teams were involved (- up to 17 years). After ranking 5th in the previous year, Germany's juniors came on fourth (231,400), ahead of Canada (227,050), France (224,950) and Australia (221,700).
The Japanese team winners also scored the two best all-rounders, with Taichi Adachi at the top (82,500), followed by fellow countryman Shiga Tachibana (81,350) and the Brit Jamie Lewis (80,450) on fourth.
