2018 Europeans of Rhythmic Gymnastics change from Valladolid to Guadalajara

U E G --: Originally planned to be held in Valladolid, site of the 2016 Trampoline Europeans, the organisers faced difficulties regarding the tent that was intended to house the training carpets. Thus, the Spanish Federation asked for an exceptional change in host city. They offered to host the event in Guadalajara where they have sufficient space and the experience of organising World Cup events.
It is important to note that the dates stay the same: 1 to 3 June! This change was accepted by the UEG’s Executive Committee. President Farid Gayibov explained: “This is a highly unusual request, a situation we need to avoid in the future. Luckily we know the qualities of the venue in Guadalajara and the Spanish Federation can guarantee a high-level event. We are pleased that the event stays in Spain as we expect their passionate fans to provide a superb atmosphere for our gymnasts.”
