This year`s 32nd European Championships of Rhythmic Gymnastics 2016 which are to be held in Israel, at the Holon Toto Hall from June 17 to June 19, will be the largest Championships of all time, with gymnasts representing no less than 39 countries. These continental championships include elite and juniors category:
* In the Elite category, 17 Federations will send their best group to fight for the title. Just 2 months before the Rio Olympics, it will be the last big chance to test their readiness.
* The junior competition is going to be intense, with a record participation of 128 juniors from 38 Federations! 12 Federations will send Elite individuals, the big names include multiple European and World Champions Yana Kudryavtseva and Margarita Mamun (RUS), Belarussians Melitina Staniouta and Katsiaryna Halkina, Ukraine’s Anna Rizatdinova and Viktoria Mazur, Kseniya Moustafaeva (FRA), Neta Rivkin (ISR), Salome Pazhava (GEO), Carolina Rodriguez (ESP) and Varvara Filiou (GRE).

This is the ECh Modus:
* ELITE's Group competition (5 gymnasts) with two free exercises (all-around), one executed with one type of apparatus (5 ribbons), the other with different apparatus ( 3 pairs of clubs & 2 hoops ). Final competition- the 8 best groups per apparatus);
* ELITE's Individual (all-around): - 20 gymnasts participate, hey are invited according to the results obtained at Competition I of the preceding European Championship 2015 in Minsk (max. 2 gymnasts per federation) by adding the best three scores.
* Juniors Team competition with 2 - 4 gymnasts per federation; they have to present 8 free exercises according to the junior program and in the order fixed by the FIG (rope, hoop, ball, clubs). A gymnast may participate with 2 - 4 exercises. The team result will be calculated based on the best 6 of the 8 pr esented exercises.
* Junior's apparatus finals: the 8 best gymnasts of each apparatus (max. 1 gymnast per nation) per apparatus.

RUSSIA won the group's all-around title at the first day in Holon, followed by silver medalist BELARUS and by host ISRAEL.

Elite Groups Finals:
European Champion with 5 ribbons is Belarus, followed by Israel and Spain.
The gold medal in the final with 6 clubs/2 hoops went to Israel, in front of Spain and Bulgaria.
All-around winner Russia get no medal in these final events.
* Individual all-around:
Gold to Yana KUDRYAVTSEVA (76,682) and silver to Margareta MAMUN (75,632) both to Russia, as aspected.
Bronze medal went to Ukraine's Ganna RIZATDINOVA (75,299).
