8. Asian Championships of Rhythmic Gymnastics 2016

From 8 to 10 May of the Gymnastics Federation of Uzbekistan hosted the 8^th Asian Championship in Rhythmic Gymnastics.
Competition venue was the Gymnastics Sport palace in the capital Tashkent. Especially the views of the development of Rhythmic Gymnastics in Japan, as host of the 2020 Olympic Games allow interesting observations: Japanese group won the all-around competition in front of China and Kazakhstan, was the best in the final with hoop + clubs, but CHINA beat Japan in the final with 5 ribbons ...
Winner of the individual all-round was the top favorite from Korea, SON, Yeonjae (73,750), followed by Elizaveta NAZARENKOVA (UZB/ 71,450), Sabina ASHIRBAYEVA (KAZ/ 70,500) and on fourth place Kaho Minagawa from Japan (69,950). The Korean gymnast SON won also all apparatus finals and thus ended the clean sweep ...!
