U15 Friendly Meet: British Girls win in Switzerland

A few weeks before the Junior European Championships of women's artistic gymnastics in late May in Bern / Switzerland, the Swiss U15 Junior selection receives her rivals from Germany, France and Great Britain as a final test before the upcoming international highlight of the year! The competitions took place at the last April weekend as part of the "Züri GYM Days 2016" of the Swiss "Zurich Gymnastics Federation" (ZTV). Best of the teams were the British Junior squad and Taeja James and Megan Parker dominated also the all-round competition ...

New British junior champion Maisie Methuen was absent, but silver medalist Taeja James and bronze medalist Ellesse Oates were in Volketswil along with junior national event champions Sophie Scott (vault), Megan Parker (uneven bars) and Zoe Simmons (floor exercise). Lucy Stanhope, the bronze medalist on uneven bars and balance beam in Liverpool, rounded out the British squad. ...
