After the the last continental championships of Aerobic Gymnastics 2009 in Liberec / Czech Republik, 2011 in Bucarest / Romania and at last 2013 in Arques / France now th 9th Europeans of Arobic 2015 take place in Elvas, Portugal from November 6 to 8.
Elvas is a city with about 24,000 inhabitants in the middle of Portugal near the border to Spain with historical and moorish flair.

* Gymnasts from 23 European national federations will battle for the junior and senior European crowns in the categories

- individual women,
- pairs, trios and
- groups.
For the seniors aero step and aero dance are also contested.

A star-studded field is ready to take up the challenge in Elvas.
In the absence of World Champion Lubov Gazov (AUT), who suffered an ankle injury just two weeks ago, vice-World Champion Oana Corina Constantin of Romania is the one to beat in the senior individual women category. The home nation’s Sara Silvais aiming for the podium as well.
Both 2015 European Games Champions, mixed pair Sara Moreno & Vicente Lli (ESP) and the Hungarian group, are looking to confirm their place on top of the leader board, as is the Romanian group who are reigning World Champions.
The mixed pair will face tough competition by Italy’s Michela Castoldi & Davide Donati and Portugal’s Tiago Faquinha & Ana Macanita.
In the Individual men, Riccardo Pentassuglia (ITA), the reigning European champion is the one to beat. The trio’s will be an interesting battle as they are mostly new formations.
* The juniors from Romania, Italy, Russia and France are the future of aerobics with other nations hoping to break through here!
This promises to be a competition of extremely high-level, the very best of Europe already preparing their battle on the World stage as well with World Championships to be held next year in June. Competition format: Each individual, pair, trio and group perform 1 routine during qualification.
* The top eight in IW, IM, MP, TR may participate in the finals (max 2 per federation).
+ Top eight also advance to finals for groups but there the limit is 1 per federation.
In Aero Dance the top six advance (max 1 per federation) while in Aero Step the top four reaches the final (max 1 per federation).
To participate in the team ranking, federations must participate with at least one participants in the qualifications of the following categories: IM or IW, MP, TR and GR. The 4 best rankings will be added to determine the team ranking list.
