* PREVIEW: 40th LEVERKUSEN-CUP 2015

Already since 1973, invites the German "Turn-Club 72 Leverkusen" to the prestigious International Leverkusen Cup 2015 of artistic Gymnastics.
The 40^th anniversary in the pre-Olympic year, will take place on Saturday, October 10^th, (5 pm. local time) in the Leverkusen Smidt ARENA instead. No other high-caliber artistic gymnastics tournament in Europe can point to such an uninterrupted tradition! Names of big winners, as Gabriella Onodi (HUN), Gabriella Wammes and Verona van de Leuer (NED) or Elisa Menighini (ITA) and the Germans Andrea Bieger, Yvonne music, Lisa Katharina Hill, Elisabeth Seitz, Kim Janas, Florine Harder or Nadja Schulz helped to write tournament history and have a lasting impression of the special Leverkusen tournament atmosphere. So far, about 96 teams from 41 countries from all five continents in Leverkusen-Cup were guests.
Also this year the host will welcome an interest nternational field of participants of teams from Belgium, Germany, England, Netherlands, Slovenia and South Africa and more. Last year more than 1,000 visitors attended for a breathtaking atmosphere in the Leverkusen Smidt ARENA and the international gymnasts for high-profile exercises of gymnastics ...

♦♦ The Tournament rules:
The Leverkusen-Cup is a team competition with an integrated individual vote.
Three gymnasts form a team. The top two ratings per unit count for the team classification.
The all-around winner of the team competition will receive the "Leverkusen Cup trophy."
Each gymnast starts on four apparatus after the best individual gymnast of the competition is the individual winner of the Leverkusen Cup.
The rating rules are based on the currently valid "code of points" and the gymnastics equipment complies with the highest international standards.
