SON Yeon Jae with three titles at the Universiade 2015

With a highly acclaimed home victory in the rhythmic gymnastics all-around by SON, Yeon Jae the Universiade 2015 ended in Gwangju (KOR). With the maximum score of 72.550 the Korean gymnast referred Ganna RIZATDINOVA from Ukraine (71.750) to the silver medal. SON added two more victories with hoop and ball in the apparatus finals added. Rizatdinova won the final with the clubs.
All-around bronze went to Belarus Melitina STANIOUTA (70.800), who won the last apparatus final with ribbon. It is probably one of the currently greatest rarities that with participation of Russian gymnasts can not be found to win or position to medal places in all-around. But this happened just in this competition: With mistakes in her clubs routine (15.950) the Russian Maria Titova this time came only on fourth, but at last in the apparatus finals she won silver with hoop and bronze with the ball ...

 

 

Mit einem vielumjubelten Heimsieg im Mehrkampf durch SON, Yeon Jae endeten die Wettbewerbe der Rhythmischen Gymnastik bei der UNIVERSIADE 2015 im koreanischen Gwangju.  Mit der Höchstpunktzahl von 72,550 verwies die Koreanerin Ganna RIZATDINOWA aus der Ukraine (71,750) auf den Silberrang Dem fügte die koreanische Weltklassegymnastin noch zwei weitere Siege mit Reifen und Ball in den Gerätefinals hinzu. Rizatdinowa gewann das Keulenfinale.
Mehrkampfbronze ging an Weißrusslands Melitina STANIOUTA (70,800), die im letzten Gerätefinale mit dem Band gewann.  Es gehört wohl zu den aktuell größten Seltenheiten, dass bei Teilnahme russischer Gymnastinnen selbige nicht auf Siegposition oder auf Medaillenplätzen zu finden sind. Dies passierte aber eben in diesem Wettkampf: Durch eine fehlerhafte Keulenübung (15,950) kam die Russin Maria Titowa diesmal nur auf Rang vier und in den Gerätefinals holte sie sich Reifensilber und Ballbronze...

Best in Groups All-around was RUSSIA with 33.650 points in front of  Ukraine (31,850) andFinland (30,400), followed by Japan (4./30,100) and China (5./16,900), because only 5 groupes participated at this event.
The Group final with 5 ribbons went to  ging an RUSSLAND in front of Ukraine and Finland.
The Final with the combination 2 hoops/3pairs clubs won the UKRAINE, followed by Japan and Russia.

Twice more delighted the Korean super gymnast her home crowd and won by the all-around also the finals with hoop and ball. With ribbon silver and clubs bronze. Thus SON, Yeon Jae  became the most successful gymnast of the World Student Championships, which must be very good for the public attention of Rhythmic Gymnastics in Korea!
Universiade champion with the clubs was Ganna RIZATDINOVA (UKR) before Staniouta and Son.
The ribbon final was won by  Belarus Melitina STANIOUTA before Son and Rizatdinova. Russia's Maria Titova remained this time "only" a silver (hoop) and one bronze (ball).
