54th NHK-Trophy: Uchimura won his 7th time

Kohei Uchimura won his 7th NHK Cup

Also the 54th NHK Trophy 205 was an event of great national importance in the year of World championships, because it was national trialsof qualifications for this highlight. Once again Kohei UCHIMURA dominated this competition at will; overall twice all-around had to be completed during the weekend. Uchimura scored at the end of these two days 184,250 points, followed by "Konami" club colleague Yusuke TANAKA with 181,325 points and Ryohei KATO ("Juntendo") with 179,850 points. At the parallel bars Uchimura got the highest score of 16,100 (!).
Uchimera said to press: "Totally I satisfied result today. And I think more revel up for World Championships. I'll challenge to win all participants at that time".

The new face in the Japanese Team: Aiko SUGIHARA

On women's side the winner of women is a new face in Japanese artistic Gymnastics: Aiko SUGIHARA from the "Baika High School".
This year's world Championships will be first big international challenge. She said: " This time I performed rower D level, for I tried no mistake. World Championships are my big dream. So I'm really happy and I think contribute for the Japanese team...!"
